We offer many courses and ensembles to fit your musical aspirations.

In all of our classes there is no instrument rental or purchase necessary! We can provide an instrument to every student interested in learning. Of course, you may use your own instrument if you choose.

 Symphonic Winds
Advanced Band. Learns advanced fundamentals and performs challenging concert band literature.

Marching Band participation is optional, but if you play a wind instrument in Marching Band, you must take Symphonic Winds.

This class is for woodwinds and brass only. If you're a percussionist, see Marching Band Auxiliary and Percussion Ensemble.

Band Techniques & Concert Band
Beginning / Intermediate Band

Learn to read music and play a wind or percussion instrument. Many students also learn a second instrument in this class.

​Jazz Band
Meets 0 period (before school)
Performs jazz and rock music.

Utilizes the following instruments:
Wind instruments, piano, drum set, guitar, and bass players are all welcome.

Since we meet 0 period, Jazz Band does not take up one of your elective slots. You can take Jazz plus two more electives.

Orchestra
Orchestra is a class for students who play violin, viola, cello, or double bass. The advanced and intermediate classes will once again be combined while we build enrollment. 

Marching Conquistadors Auxiliary & Percussion Ensemble.
This class is for percussionists and color guard members of the Conquistador Marching Band.

How to join:
If you want to drum or dance in the marching band:
1. Read our Marching Band page and follow ALL STEPS there.
2. Sign up for Marching Conquistadors Auxiliary first semester and Percussion Ensemble Second Semester.
